Description:
Paperback. H M Stationery Office. 1951. A brochure constructed to go with the 1951 Festival of Britain held at the Southbank Centre. Produced whilst King George VI was on the throne. There are lots of striking colour advertisements to the front and back of the brochure, of historical interest to those interested in that industry. Central to the brochure are plans and information on the various exhibitions. In the middle of the brochure and whilst loose but laid in, is the A4 plan of the exhibition. There is some writing in pencil on the back cover, otherwise there are not other markings except for dustiness to the covers and a few pages. Overall, a solid, handsome item of a historical event in the history of modern Britain. Not exlib and packed and sent with care.
