New York: Grosset & Dunlap. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 1951. Reprint. Hardcover. 237 p. 21 cm. Sound, blue tweed cloth binding. Light wear to corners and edges. The front edge of the text block is a little grimy. Previous owner's label and a handwritten name and address on the front free endpaper. The inside pages are generally clean and bright. Dustjacket has edge wear and panels are lightly soiled and scratched. Spine is slightly faded. First paragraph of blurb on rear flap has some letters filled in with red ink. Price code of 175175 on front flap. The first of the series, Francie goes to live in England for a year and experiences somewhat of a culture shock, and must learn to adapt. One of the Starlight series of novels for Modern Girls from this publisher. .
