About This Item

London: Jonathan Cape, 1965. First edition. Cloth. Near Fine/Very Good Indeed. 8" by 5". None. A very smart, first edition copy of this novel from Ian Fleming's noted James Bond series. In the original Richard Chopping designed dustwrapper. With the original dustwrapper unclipped.Posthumously published, 'The Man With the Golden Gun' is Ian Fleming's twelfth and final novel in his James Bond Series, and the penultimate Bond book overall. This novel was issued eight months after the author's death and was a best-seller. In the second state binding, as is most common with this work. A wonderful example of this sought after James Bond novel. In the publisher's original cloth binding. With original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, very smart with just some minor shelfwear to the extremities. Dustwrapper is smart with some small closed tears to the head and tail of the wrap. Light rubbing to the head and tail of spine as well as the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. A few light spots to the fore-edge, not affecting the pages. Near Fine
