Stuttgart: Greiner & Pfeiffer, n.y.. Hardcover. 12mo. Olive green cloth with extensive and elaborate gilt lettering and decorations. v, 110pp, (18pp ads). All edges gilt. White watered silk endpapers. Very good. Faintest of edgewear; moderate age toning to text block. A tight and quite handsome third printing (undated, but "Forward to Third Printing" dated 1891) of this 1883 essay collection (entirely in German) from the Stuttgart city pastor. Title translation: "Hold What You Have, So Nobody Will Take Your Crown." An all-around lovely copy.
