With sections on poltergeists, omens and numerous haunted houses in the United Kingdom, including Spedlin's Tower, the Tower of London, and Mannington Hall. Charles George Harper was an English author and illustrator who published numerous topographical works. The half title page is present. In the original pictorial cloth binding. Externally, smart with some light shelf wear to the edges. Bumping to the spine. A few marks to the boards. Light offsetting and the odd spot to the paste-downs and free endpapers. Internally, binding slightly strained but still firm. Pages very bright and clean. A few scattered spots throughout and marks to pages 212-213. Light age-toning to the edges. Spotting to the fore-edge. Very Good
