London: The Prince of Wales Hospital Fund for London, 1897. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. Oblong Format 8" X 6. This is an extensively illustrated souvenir of the procession held in celebration of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. Created by staff at the Graphic and Daily Graphic the majority of illustrations consist of groups of soldiers from around the Empire. Created to raise funds for the Prince of Wales Hospital Fund for London the book also contains a page in which supporters were encouraged to stick in special commemorative stamps in aid of the charity. This copy has two stamps tipped in -one for 1/- and another for 2/6d. Generally very good, a little loose within the binding and with the occasional light fingering to plates. Bound in blue cloth which is faded to spine and top board with the date printed in gilt to top board, A.E.G.
