Tenth edition. Illustrated with a frontispiece and six plates. Collated complete. A short history of the Indian Mutiny of 1857, with chapters on the conspirators, the spread of the epidemic, the effect through India, the march to Delhi, the siege of Delhi, the last embers of the revolt, and more. Written by Colonel George Bruce Malleson, an English officer in India and author. In the original red cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities. Minor fading to the spine and the odd mark to the boards. A light tide mark to the rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot. Very Good
