A library copy from Middelburg C P, with all labels and stamps removed except for a dedication label, "Louisa Mackinnon". Slight wear on hinges; a 10x2mm hole in cloth on rear. Unfoxed and apparently unread. Gilt titles on spine very little faded. Bright gilt title & emblem on front cover. 4 b&w plates with tissue guards; 3 b&w sketch plans all complete.
