Philadelphia: David McKay, 1932. Pictorial boards. Near Fine/Very Good. A sharp copy of the 1st American edition, circa 1932. Clean, tight and Near Fine in its pictorial boards. And in a bright, presentable copy of the uncommon dustjacket, which is clean and VG, with light tape applied to the inside of the dustjacket and light chipping --with several small closed tears-- along the edges. Quarto, with 12 wonderful color photo plates of real dolls posed in the various activities described in the text.
