(1st) Slightly smaller book, red cloth, bright silver lettering and thin design on spine, gray inside covers and adjacent end papers, 312 lightly browned heavy pages. DJ has gray background to front and spine, red lettering and illustration of kings from card deck without faces on front, b/w photo of Spooner on back. DJ has tiny tear with very slight wear to top front tip, very slight wear to bottom front tip, very tiny tear, tiny tear and creases at top front edge, microtear at bottom front edge, very tiny tear at spine top edge, 1/4" tear at spine top left edge onto back, tiny near-chip at top back tip, two microtears at bottom back edge. Near Good DJ/Fine book.
