Fourth edition, revised, so stated. Bound with (as usual and probably as issued): DAS KLEINE HARFE ... [Same imprint as preceding.] 55, [1] pages. Fourth edition, so stated. The two works are bound together in the original full calf with raised bands and blind rules near spine ends and on covers. The two original clasps are sturdy and close tightly. Front hinge repaired internally and externally with Japanese tissue. Else near very good. Some small scuffs to leather, thin slit at center of front cover. Some light to moderate damping and foxing. Stains to portion of two leaves of second work, with some associated creasing, but affected text still legible. Early owner's inscription on front free endpaper: "Christina Zigler's Book, 1840."
