His work is considered as classic literature and has had a major impact. Gold engravings to the boards and spine and gold fore edge.Includes undated ink inscription from prior owners and name label to the pastedown. In full leather binding. Externally, smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The leather on the spine is slightly worn. There is some marking to the back board. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean with the occasional spot.
