Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company. Very Good with no dust jacket. 1919. Hardcover. Dark green cloth hardbacks are all tightly bound with no marks. Each volume has a frontis of Marshall but each a different pose and all have tissue guards in place. Volumes cover Frontiersman, Soldier, Lawmaker 1755-1788; Politician, Diplomatist, Statesman 1789-1801; Conflict and Construction 1800-1815; and Building of the Nation 1815-1835. Light overall age tanning. Top edges are gilt with fore and bottom deckled. All gilt to front covers and spines is bright and easily readable. Very minor wear at spine ends and corners. Digital photos available. ; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall .
