Free of any creased or dog-eared pages in the text. Free of underlining, hi-lighting, notations, or marginalia in the text. Free of any ownership names, dates, addresses, notations, inscriptions, stamps, plates, or labels. A handsome copy, structurally sound and tightly bound, showing minor, unobtrusive flaws. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 4to. (11.35 x 8.5 x 0.6 inches). 14 pages, which include an eight-page introduction by the photographer followed by 23 full-page Color plates with a facing page consisting of a black-and-white drawing noting composition and design and notes concerning the photographic techniques employed. Cream-toned buckram cloth over boards with crimson titles at the front panel and backstrip. Profusely illustrated with color photographs of a number of female nudes in a variety of poses in interior and rocky seashore environments. Language: English. Weight: 25 ounces. Wheat-toned buckram over boards with crimson titles and designs at the front panel and red titles at the back-strip. High production values: a slick-paper production. Hardback with DJ. Everard, a British World War I veteran and former tea planter, became a self-taught press and studio photographer after the war and from the late 1920s into the 1960s was a noted photographer of nudes, writing a number of books on the subject. "Living Colour" was his fourth work.
