A delightful children's story about a pudding (sometimes plum pudding, sometimes steak & kidney) which is alive & never empty (appropriate tale for the Depression), & his adventures with his owners & would-be owners. Unusual to have such a bright copy in dust jacket. Tall 8vo, 157 unnumbered pages, illus. throughout by the author. Orig. red cloth covers bright, with the red, blue, white & black printed dust jacket. Full unclipped dj lightly ruffled at edges, a few closed tears to top of front dj; dj protected by mylar jacket cover. Muir 4278.
