Paris: Earnest Burdin, 1860. Quarto. A new edition, text in French. 1106pp., illustrated with 17 full page gravures and textual illustrations by MM. Francais, H.Baron, Ed. Wattier Laville, and others. revised and corrected from the first edition of 1704, augmented with an essay on the Thousand and One Nights by M. Le Baron Sylvestre de Sacy, bound in publisher's brown pebble grained cloth backed in leather, raised bands, title within one compartment gilt, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, scattered foxing but mostly clean especially the plates. A piece of cloth on rear board has a tear otherwise a very good copy and quite heavy.
