London New York Chicago: George Allen & Unwin Rand McNally, 1953. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Full set of the english language volumes of THE MOUNTAIN WORLD. All volumes complete with original dust jackets. Some of the jackets have rubbing and tiny loss spine ends (see photos) and several have price-clipped flap corners. The book covers are clean and not rubbed and not faded. NOT Ex-Library. Previous owner name on FFEP of 1956/57 volume; otherwise, there are no previous owner marks or writing on any pages of the volumes. Foxing along top edge of text block on most volumes but no foxing on page faces. Pages are bright and clean, bindings are tight, complete set with all foldouts and rear pocket maps present. Extra postage required. For mailing to a USA destination, postage comes to a total of about $11 since the set weighs about 18 pounds. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL VOLUMES BEING OFFERED FOR SALE.
