New York: New Directions, 1961. Book Club Edition . Boards & Cloth W. Dustjacket. BOOK CLUB EDITION. Tennessee Williams last successful play that starred Bette Davis, Margaret Leighton and Patrick O'Neal. Later made into a well received film that starred Richard Burton, Ava Gardner and Deborah Kerr. Illustrated with 4 photographs. The nice dustjacket with art by Nicola Wood is in very good condtion with one small chip to the top edge of the spine panel. There are three rubber ownership stamps on the front and back endsheets and the half title page. The book itself is nice and clean. Vg+/vg+
