About This Item
London: Jacob Tonson, 1693. 6th Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo format - 7" tall. A study of the country and people by the Ambassador at the Hague and Aix la-Chapelle in 1668. Internally very good in scuffed, stained and mottled full leather boards with weak hinges. foxing stains to borders of endpapers. Spine worn with damage to its base and, for some reason, a later addition to spine title of "vol: I" - this book is complete in itself. Small thinning hole to first leaf without loss and an early signature of a previous owner on title page. Collation conforms to ESTC Citation number R33909.
