Hinges are NOT cracked. Small bookstore label on rear pastedown endpaper. A few pages show small brown spots (foxing?). NO owner's name or bookplate. First Printing of the First Edition, with NO statement of printing on the copyright page, but with the publisher's acorn device (as called for by Currey). NOTE: This is true first edition published February 1927, NOT the First Reprinting from March 1927. Zeuschner 381. Heins OT #1 (page 170). Currey p. 91.. First Printing of the First Edition. Hardcover. Good+ condition/No dust jacket. 8vo. (vi), 298pp. Great Packaging, Fast Shipping.

Synopsis

The Outlaw of Torn is a 1927 historical novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs, originally published as a five part serial in New Story Magazine from January to May, 1914. It was first published in book form by A. C. McClurg in 1927. It was his second novel, his first being the science fiction work A Princess of Mars. His third was Tarzan of the Apes.
