London: Frederick Warne, c1880. Leather. Very Good Indeed. 7" by 5". Unamed. A charmingly illustrated edition of this poetical and theatrical anthology from Oliver Goldsmith. With a the addition of The Vicar of Wakefield Memoir bound to the front. Adorned with several plates, decorative head and tail pieces, and an engraved frontispiece of Goldsmith. Oliver Goldsmith was a Irish novelist, playwright and poem who is best known for his work 'The Vicar of Wakefield'. In a decorative crushed morocco binding with gilt lettering to the spine. Externally, generally sound but with light rubbing. Internally, firmly bound, bright and clean aside from the odd spot. Neat copperplate ink inscription to the half title. Very Good Indeed
