In slipcase).; 24 x 32,5 cm; 2,266 Kg; 255 pages with colour illustrations throughout.; Used book with signs of wear, namely on the exterior of the slipcase, that has wear signs throughout. The interior of the book looks as new.; Qingbai ceramics is one of the most undervalued groups of Chinese ceramics in the long Chinese ceramic tradition. This catalogue aims to show and convince the audience of why qingbai is one of the most successful ceramic productions in China. Focusing particularly on qingbai made for the domestic market, with only a few examples produced at Jingdezhen, this catalogue includes articles by renowned scholars, such as Rosemary Scott, and the editor, Stacey Pierson, along with a catalogue of 130 entries, many of which have never been published before, and each with several images of the pieces, a rigorous identification and an extensive description. At the end of the book, the contributors included a section of 'further reading, some bibliographical notes', which provides the reader with an opportunity of knowing where to look for more information on this special type of wares. Both the articles and this last section have short summaries in Chinese. This extensive catalogue is essential for anyone who wants to further their knowledge on this particular production..
