1925. No Binding. Very Good. A neatly written personal reference, in a secretarial hand, signed and dated by a (shaky) Hallam Tennyson - the elder son of the famous poet Alfred, Lord Tennyson. Hallam Tennyson became the 2nd Governor General of Australia between 1903 - 1904 and retired to the Isle of Wight as Deputy Governor from 1913. He died in 1928. The reference is for one William Blake. Size 17.5 X 11cm. Folded vertically and with a horizontal fold supported with tape to the rear.
