1787. No Binding. Very Good/No Jacket. Folio - over 12 - 15" tall. Two Parliamentary Acts relating to the rebuilding of the Pier at Margate and other improvements to the town. An act of parliament, dated 1787, to rebuild the Pier of Margate together with other measures to include the setting of rates for Porters, Chairmen, Carters and Carmen within the town together with a list of duties payable, e.g. For every Hawk 2d, For every Dog 2d, For every Fox 2d etc. Folio format paginated 1 61, stitched. Title page and rear cover embrowned but generally in very good condition. An act of parliament, dated 1799, passed to amend and render more effectual an act passed in 1787 for rebuilding the Pier of Margate and for other purposes mentioned in the previous act. Folio format paginated 1 36, stitched. Rear cover embrowned but generally in very good condition
