Asyla, Inc., 1967. Soft cover. Good. 95 pages, of which 76 are a special section on Robert Lowell. Includes his poem "Spring," based on an ode of Horace, and, at page 21 facing the poem a b&w photo portrait of Lowell by Trudi Fuller, previously affixed but now only laid-in. Trade paperback-size journal, soiled white wraps with red lettering, "Robert Lowell" hand written on spine, tear and chip at top of spine, dust-soil to top edge. Underscoring and/or marginalia in pencil by former owner Prof. Warner Berthoff on nine pages, all in Thomas Parkinson's essay on "For the Union Dead." Our listing WBB-656 is Salmagundi #37, from 1977, dedicated to Lowell on his 60th birthday.
