The Sea Wolf is a famous novel about a literary critic who survives an ocean collision and is rescued by a brutal and amoral sea captain. It was written in 1904 and has since been made into films 13 times.

304 pages, including an afterword by John Cobbs.
With 11 illustrations by William Aylward (who did the originals in 1904, but is best known for being a WWI war artist).
Light blue boards with a navy spine. Red & cream design on the cover and brilliant gold lettering on the spine.

There is a slight crease from page 281 to 296--it looks like a production issue and is barely noticeable. This book has not been read and is in pristine condition.

Synopsis

The Sea-Wolf is a 1904 psychological adventure novel by American writer Jack London about a literary critic and other survivors of an ocean collision who come under the dominance of Wolf Larsen, the powerful and amoral sea captain who rescues them. Its first printing of forty thousand copies were immediately sold out before publication on the strength of London's previous The Call of the Wild.
