With 11 illustrations by William Aylward (who did the originals in 1904, but is best known for being a WWI war artist).
Light blue boards with a navy spine. Red & cream design on the cover and brilliant gold lettering on the spine.
There is a slight crease from page 281 to 296--it looks like a production issue and is barely noticeable. This book has not been read and is in pristine condition.

Its first printing of forty thousand copies were immediately sold out before publication on the strength of London's previous The Call of the Wild.
