New York: Random House, 1960. First Edition . First Edition/First Printing. Hardcover. Fine Book in a Near Fine Dust Jacket, Signed and inscribed by the author on the title page. The jacket isclipped, but still showing the price of $5.95 on the inside front flap and has small tear on the upper front flap and slight fading to the Jacket spine. The uncommon first issue Dust Jacket in light green with red lettering.
Synopsis
Set This House on Fire, is a novel by William Styron, set in Italy centred on the themes of evil and redemption. The narrator, Leverett, is a lawyer from the South, but the story is primarily told through the recollections of its protagonist, a troubled artist named Cass.
