London : Cobden-Sanderson, 1930. First edition. Cloth. Very Good/Very Good. 9" by 5.5". None. A first edition of this book of poetry by Alan Porter. Most of the poems included here have appeared in The Spectator, The Observer, The New Age, G. K.'s Weekly, Oxford Poetry, The London Mercury and other periodicals and anthologies. At the beginning of the volume appear some commendatory verses by Edmund Blunden, William Force Stead, L. Aaronson, Richard Church and J. Isaacs. In a burgundy cloth binding in an unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Dustwrapper is sound with slight rubbing. There are some chips and closed tears to the extremities. There is also some discolouration to the extremities. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are generally firmly bound. Very Good
