About This Item
Octavo (8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches) London: Reeder & Walsh, 1922. First Edition. 11 pages printed on rectos, original stapled wrappers, with a portrait on the front cover (perhaps, the author) in cowboy costume (six gun and gun belt, fringed chaps, hat - lighting a cigarette), advertisements inside covers, and on back cover for other books of recitations and monologues, with neat rubber stamp "prices void" over some of the ads; very good condition (old label neatly pasted below author's name on front cover, insignificant pencil marks in margins of front cover, not affecting contents).
The "Sketches" include: "Squaws," "The Cow Puncher," and "Calvalary (sic) and Cowboys," among others.
