Upper edge gilt. 120pp illustrated with coloured frontispiece, seven other plates and one map throughtout text. A little wear/marking to the boards, but generally very good. Nice and clean inside. Part of the Children's Heroes series. Undated circa 1906, presumed first. Handwritten gift inscription on front endpaper dated 1907.
