York, PA: Strength & Health Pub, 1949. Magazine. Nine issues (June/July was a double issue), August and November missing, in very good condition bound by The Art Bookbinder, Vancouver, covers included, in wine buckram cloth and gilt with light shelfwear. Cover model African American bodybuilder Melvin Wells for January. Bob Mizer, Spartan tc. often contributed to these magazines in the 1940s which led to his creating Physique Pictorial.
