An unused Finnish A2 lobby poster for the movie Lucy Gallant, starring Jane Wyman & Charlton Heston The film was first screened in Finnish cinemas in 1956. This particular poster is a standard size 60cm x 40cm approx, printed by Rotopaino Oy of Helsinki. It is in miraculous shape, Mint condition. Unfolded. No pinholes. No tears, nicks or creases. Bright, clean and vivid.

A vintage, original, Finnish cinema poster for the first screening in Finland (October 1967) of the classic Robert Aldrich film, The Dirty Dozen, starring Lee Marvin. A folded poster in VG condition, approximate size is 24 inches by 16 inches, standard Finnish A2 format. SIGNS OF USE: 2-inch tear at the top right edge. Pinholes at corners. Traces of tri-folding and around these are secondary creases. Minor scrapes to the black titles. At the verso there are a couple of ink-splash type stains. One of these shows through (at the letter "L" in "Jaeckel"). Notwithstanding these faults the poster still presents very well and will look superb under glass. For best appreciation of condition, please examine the high-resolution image which accompanies this listing.

Finland: United Artists, 1953. 1st Edition . No Binding. Fine. A fabulous-condition Finnish A2 cinema poster for the 1953 movie, VICE SQUAD starring Edward G. Robinson & Paulette Godard. The movie is also known as The Girl from Room 17 and it is this less "salacious" title which is referred to in the poster. The actual Finnish title translates as "Flying Squad". The film was first screened in cinemas in Finland in 1953 with no subsequent theatrical screenings. This poster is not a modern reproduction and nor is it Video/DVD-related. Standard size 23.5" x slightly under 16" approx. It is in fantastic condition - unfolded and with no chips or tears to the edges - one or two small handling creases. At the top - in the brim of the hat - there is a puncture or split to the paper although there is not actual loss. There are no pinholes - it may be an unused poster. New York, N.Y. (115 W. Broadway): Artists Poster Committee, 1984. With Union burst. Poster, lithography on clay paper. [22½ x 35 inches], VG or better. Light rippling throughout. On the left, one clean tear of ~3 inches, may be mended. Some light chipping to ink at edges and similar light edge wear. "On August 11, 1984, President Ronald Reagan was preparing for his weekly radio address on National Public Radio. During a soundcheck he said, 'My fellow Americans I'm pleased to tell you today that I've signed legislation that would outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes.' The audio was subsequently leaked. Despite making a joke about nuclear genocide, Reagan was reelected by a landslide a few months later."—Exhibition Annotation: Center for the Study of Political Graphics.
