Boston: The Stratford Company, 1936. Hard Cover. First Edition. 8 x 5 1/2. 257 pp. The author's memoir of a 20,000 mile journey taken in the mid 1930s, through ASiza and the Pacific. Reads very much like a how-to book for those intrepid but inexperienced Americans who have never travelled "West of the Golden Gate". Filled with interesting details; remarkable sepia-toned photographs. Cover is brown cloth with gilt lettering and v. nic e gilt design on front depicting Golden Gate Bridge and pagoda. Spine is bright and clear; front also in lovely cond. Min wear to edges and corners, otherwise flawless. Endpapers are ivory, pristine. Text is clean.. A good copy of this interesting travel memoir. Note: Pub error in spelling Massachusetts on titile page.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket.
