The life and works of William Pickering, an English publisher and bookseller, known for various innovations in the field including the introduction of edition binding in cloth to British publishing. Written by Geoffrey Keynes, a British surgeon and author, notable for innovations in the fields of blood transfusion and breast cancer surgery. In the original cream cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear to the extremities. Original unclipped dust wrapper also very smart with minor chipping to the head and tail of the spine. Light shelf wear to extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Near Fine
