Vol. 1 has slight soiling on page 145 and vol. 2 a thumb mark on its illustration list. Arthur Morrison (1863 - 1945) wrote short stories, books and plays and collected a large number of Japanese prints, now in the British Museum. In his later years he was an acknowledged international authority on Oriental art.
