Hardcover book with incised gold lettering on the cloth boarded cover. Also on the cover is the signature of H. Thomas Austern in black ink. The 61 page book is in good condition. First cover page is ink stamped with the name H. Thomas Austern and scattered throughout brownish toning to the front and back cover pages. All else is fine. Binding is tight, minor wear at the corner of covers. H.T. Austern was a well known food and drug law attorney for more than 50 years, it is not known if the book was his or if he signed it for someone. This book is a special edition that the Washington Post had prepared by an independent council as to explain the many interpretations of the laws of the Robinson-Patman Act so the average American businessman could understand and put to use. Published in 1936; 61 pages; 11 1/4" x 8 1/2". Good condition. Very Scarce!!.

Hardcover green cloth with gilt lettering. #215 of 500 copies. 415 pages. Black and white photos. 11" x 15", large, oversized book. Edges are worn and bumped. Spine cover is a little soft, but book is tight. Volume II only. Book has some foxing (mostly front pages) and previous owners name inside cover. Rare copy!.

Hardcover leather book in overall good condition for its age. Binding is cracked, but still tight and solid. Some markings inside front cover. Information page is torn. Pages are foxed and some staining. Cover edges are bumped. 5" x 8 1/4". 365 pages plus table in rear.

Advertising on cover boards and many pages of advertisements. 1692 pages, book is 6" wide, 9 1/4" tall and 3 1/4" thick. Colored, folded map of New England still attached. It is torn, but great color. Heavy wear to cover, but spin is still tight. Some pages are dog-eared. Clean copy with no writing noted.

A rare pictorial envelope not listed in Walcott, is listed in Weiss, C-O 51. A satirical image of a new coin design for the Confederate States of America (CSA). Printed in blue ink on cream colored laid paid. Reverse side shows use with an impressed stamp mark in the center of the flap? If gum portion was used, it did not stick. Wrinkles in the fold down flap. Printer is unknown. The blue ink color print is strong; very good image, in very good condition. A rare civil war envelope!
