The inserted leaves are plainly visible and have been affixed into the book (see photographs). The signature is believed to be authentic, but it is not signed directly onto this book as issued by the publisher.
Because of this restoration/alteration, the book is offered as a reading and collectible association copy rather than a traditional signed first edition.
