RARE - This is a salesman's version of the original. This was used by traveling salesmen as a demo for prospective buyers. There are order sheets with purple colored inserts, all are blank. The book features two fold out maps along with 3 of the 4 leather inserts all titled the same but having different colors indicating probably a choice given to the buyer as to their preference of the binding cover. This book feartures a golden brown, maroon, and black leather for choices.
The corners of the book are bent some and marred. The spinse at the top and base has some tearing away. The covers themselves have soe slight scratches
The book features several photos with glassine type paper protectors, and several illustrations. The pages themselves are still tightly bound. I would say handle with care due to the inner beginning stages of inner boards begiining to separte from the spine.

A highly collectable and authentic two-volume set of the fourth printing. Very scarce, have not been able to locate a comp.
This specific set is distinguished by its scarce "stained glass" variant cover design in vibrant red, orange, blue and light blue, used in place of the more common plain green wrappers of the era. This unique artistic cover, consistent across both volumes' front, back, and spine, makes this a rare find for collectors.
In excellent condition, almost like new, no markings very firm binding, exceptional.

A rare deluxe edition, one of 225, signed by the author. Dust jacket is in excellent condition. A fascinating take on the color blue and how it permeates our world and everyday lives, and in some many shades. Very original piece of work. Never imagined or considered how the color blue is so prevalent in society.

Dust jacket has marring and slight tearing away at the corners, top of the spine has a small sesction torn away, same at the base of the spine., and some creasing along the bottom of the spine. Slight crease at the top front of dustjacket.

Dust jacket has some wrinkles/crimping on the front page front to bottom, not terrible but there nontheless. At the top of the spine on the back page upper right corner there is a very small piece missing, 1 cm. On the back cover there are two very narrow lines or streaks that are visible. Interior of the book is in like new condition. The book is inscribed from L'Amour to someone named Erwin.

One of the greatest men to ever be around a baseball field in the history of Major Leauge Baseball, and on top of that he had a great sense of humor. Stengel provides some very unique perspectives on the game and will always be an icon around the league, especially for the New York Yankees.
Dust-jacket has a crease at the top running lengthwise with scuffing at the corners. Top of the spine there is cracking slight tearing away. Another scrape halfway down spine. cracking along where dustjacket would fold. It is fully intact. The photo of Casey Stengel on the front is clean. Please see photos provided.

Most likely you will never see this version of 100 Years of Solitude again in your lifetime. The book is a soft-cover with front cover I have never seen on the internet before and I have been looking on and off for the past handful of years.

On the very back page there is a stamped red colored box with different sections. The dust jacket is in fantastic condition. Very slight weearing away at front cover lower left corner. Very slight mark and wearing away at the base of the spine on dustjacket. Other than that it is superb. From 1962 that's pretty amazing. Inside of book is like new.
A masterpiece of writing by Ian Flemming with some raw emotion romance and intriguue that a true spy might very well encounter. Suspensefull, full impact and weight with words, very efficient writer. Finished it over a three day weeked. Difficult to lay down and walk away for long.

The dust jacket is in exceptional condition especially compared to other books on the market I've seen. Very small nicks on the corners, and a very slight breaking away of the cover at the base of the jacket spine area, hardly enough to really matter. At the very top of the spine of the dust jacket there is a very small line that is not torn apart just a line about 1 cm in length. Other those minor items the jacket is in terrific shape. The book iteself is clean and crisp, no markings. On the inside of the back board there is a sticker attached from a person's private library. The Mylar paper naturally covers it up and I almsot missed it in my inspection. And, I have read where these adhesive stickers can be removed using several different methods.

A fantastic look inside the mind of Ayn Rand featuring excerpts from: We the Living, Anthem, The Fountainhead, and Atlas Shrugged. If I person wants a clear cut view into the world of realism and objectivity there is no better author to learn from than Ayn Rand. I read Atlas Shrugged in college and it changed my outlook on personal responsibility, the mindset of being industrious and particularly money and how it is gained and the beauty of capitalism. Ms. Rand grew up in Russian including the early years of communist Soviet Union and describes in her philosophy the destructive nature of communism and how it kills the human spirit to exce and strive for greatness. Some discoloration, on the back cover in the top corner, there is small piece missing, or torn away. Around 1 inch across and 1/2 inch down. The balance of the book is in great condition. This is Ms. Rand coming from a different angle with her writing style. While her world famous novels, Atlas Shrugged, and The Fountainhead were grand sweeping novels that were riveting from the outset, this book Anthem, is much more like a short story, or better yet a novella. Her style of writing changes from her larger novels to a more succinct yet highly convincing argument about her driving force of objectivism.

Yukio Mishima was most famous for his novels, but this particular play had a major impact on how readers view the scope of his ability to master another form of writing. I have read two of his novels, and there is something different about his ability to communicate on a level where reading between the lines can say so much. He has the ability to write to where your imagination has room for itself to paint the story.

This is the original first edition, first printing with the maroon colored exterior, three crosses in dark navy to black with shadows, The author's name William Faulkner printed in silver. Dust jacket shows some smudging at the corners. The top of the spine area there is about a 1/4 inch missing. A few other minor nicks. Overall in very good condition. Clean and crisp.

Book is in great condition. There is no date that I can find when it was published. However, on the back inner board there are dates of chronological order for some of or all of his work, and this book is referenced as being in 1971. This is a great historical view of Miller's life.
Other than some pinching or creasing at the top of the spine the dustjacket is in great condition.

Signed by Miller on leaf before half title page. 12 color illustrations by Miller. Original signed and numbered 112/150 lithograph laid loose with glassine paper protective. Publisher's full gilt stamped black Morocoo and blue/black Monk's cloth slipcase. Fantastic I don't know how it gets any "newer."

This is a special author's edition number 114 out of 150 and signed by the author. The dust jacket alone makes this an awesome book. This particular dustjacket version is very rare.
The dustjacket has some marring and small tears at the corners and a small section torn away at the base of the spine, cracked with very small amount torn away at the top of the spine. Slight mark with cracking on the front very top middle area. There are several slight smudge marks on the front. Discoloration along the spine. However, the main front page has that unmistakable vivid coloring and is a feast for the eyes. One of the best dustjacket designs I've ever seen.
Really great insight into the machinations of an assassin. You can feel the tension and racing heartbeat with the gripping paranoia and racing mind of the killer. Great plot and a fun read for sure.
