Sehring, who passed away in 2015, was the only American artist to be commissioned by the Vatican to paint the official Papal portrait of Pope John Paul II.

A fine copy in near fine dust jacket with slight edge wear and soiling Issued in conjunction with an exhibition at Cornell University's Herbert F Johnson Museum of Art, this catalog of conceptual artist Agnes Denes' work is visually stunning. Includes essays by Peter Selz, Lowery Stokes Sims, Robert Hobbs, and Donald Kuspit. The lithograph, printed in blue ink on thick, deckle-edged paper, is not titled but represented on page 51 as "Model for Probability Pyramid - Study for Crystal Pyramid."

Wraps toned, moderate edge wear, old horizontal folds, light foxing, faint signature in the top margin of the upper cover, otherwise very good.
Presumably a short-lived publication & likely the only number issued. Publisher Lacombe served, apparently, as editor & also contributed a sketch entitled "Fleurette." As noted on the verso of the upper wrap, each issue "will contain two plates." This example, with no evidence of removal, is without illustration & was probably distributed as a sample & prospectus.
