A stunningly illustrated picture book with a message of peace for children. This copy is in very good + condition albeit with a slight nudge to the upper end of spine.

Translated by Ivy Low Litvinov Leo Tolstoy told this story to his nephews and nieces and this is the first printing in English. This copy is neat, clean, tightly bound and unmarked throughout. The dust jacket has some issues by way of minor tears to edges and sticky tape residue at title.

Featuring 22 individual stories written and illustrated by Rene Cloke. This appears to be the 1st edition c 1949. Cover boards are a little worn, canvas spine has faded to natural and pages have begun to yellow, but, book is unmarked throughout ............ no name, no inscriptions, no pen or pencil marks. A good copy.

A lovely copy of this 1984 children's book which features Ben Marcus' magical vision of the Australian Rainforest. Signed and inscribed by the author 'For Amber' Book is unmarked throughout otherwise, with just a slight flaw by way on minor tear to the dust jacket at raer upper edge near spine.

The authors tell the story of their adventures as they set out to find the Sandman and discover his secrets. In their travels they come upon a hidden treasure - an illustrated opus in rhymed verse called The Alphabet of Sleep. Book is in very good condition. There is an inscription within the lead page, but otherwise, book is unmarked.

Cole's Funny Picture Book is a series of children's books of Victoriana puzzles, stories, poems, jokes and "nutty humour", first compiled by E.W. Cole and synonymous with Cole's Book Arcade, Melbourne. This copy is in good to very good condition, a little scuffed, a little tanned. A fascinating insight in to Victorian era thought.

Fabulous, very rare, a little damaged. All pages remain clean, crisp and full gloss colour. Pages are tightly bound with all stitching intact, but have begun to separate from their fixing at spine ( refer pic ) and the book has been priced accordingly.
