When did you get started in bookselling?
We started in Bookselling 25 tears ago
What drew you to bookselling?
I've always been a reader, But when I started selling collectable items on town markets I soon realised this area of selling was filling up with to much competition and wondered if I could sell books in the same way, so with my brother we sent about building and running a large book stall and here we are 25 years later with considerable more knowledge and a lot of back ache !
What are your specialties as a dealer?
We specialise in History and archaeology, military history, science fiction and fantasy first editions and we also have general stock.
What's the most amazing book you've ever sold?
None in particular, they are all amazing
What is your favorite part of being a bookseller?
Buying stock and not knowing whats coming in.
Do you have an open storefront or have you in the past?
no
What is your favorite bookshop (other than your own)?
I don't have one, they are all different.
What do you personally like to read? Collect?
