(no place): Solion, with lithography by Norwood; licensed by Curtis Publications, Indianapolis. The 2004 Saturday Evening Post Norman Rockwell Calenda, this being the variant published (in this case) by the apparently now-defunct Solion print solutions company, with the cover illustration being Rockwell's painting of a schoolteacher (Miss Jones) who has been pleasantly surprised on her birthday by chalked birthday wishes on the blackboard from her young charges. See scan. Quarto size in landscape format, 10 3/4" in width, 8 3/8" tall. Spiral bound, 12 pp., each with a Rockwell painting reproduction on a verso and each with a calendar month on a recto. uncredited: uncredited, 1977. No Binding. As New. As New; pristine and flawless. See scan and description. Big Boy Restaurant Vintage 3" Embroidered Souvenir Patch (circa 1977). 3" diameter, manufacture and art uncredited, circa 1977. As New, and quite completely flawless; stored in zip-lock since acquisition in (about) 1977, at a Big Boy restaurant a bit south of Gastonia, NC - but over the border in South Carolina - as I recall. Scarce thus. The red, white, blue, brown and silver threads are still as engagingly luminous as when new. See scan. Travel & restaurant ephemera. Collectible. Don't put this on clothes you wear a lot - it's just too nice. Lsmph4

Tall quarto, almost folio, illustrated stapled wraps, 58 pp. Cover is - IMHO - one of the most engaging ever executed by the estimable Zula Kenyon, whose pastels were achieved with her own recipes. Here, she gave us an astonishingly feminine and enchanting female image, a nameless mona lisa who literally raises the concept of 'flapper' to an entirely different level of meaning. See the scan. A color interior illustration, "A Glimpse of Nature's Wonderland", is from a painting by C.A.
