Overall size approx 23 x 18 cm (9 x 7 ins.) Double sided with description page on rear in German gothic script. In very good condition. Beautiful bright full-colouring. Paper is clean and bright with no marks or foxing to print. Else an excellent early example. Later hand colouring. Probably the earliest printed Atlas of the British Isles. It is thought to exist only in proof form, which explains the absence of of a Title Page and a Map of Yorkshire.
