New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1957. First Edition. Hardcover with Dust Jacket. Very Good/Good-. (W. A. Dwiggins). 8vo. Pp. 191, [2]. Bound in aqua cloth with elaborate wave motif stamped on front board and spine in orange. In the illustrated dust jacket, slight soiling to front panel and rear flap detached but present. The price of $3.00 is intact on the front flap. Not expressly designed by Dwiggins but, as stated on the front flap, "typography, binding and jacket based on designs by W. A. Dwiggins." That curious statement is likely explained by Dwiggins' death in December 1956, just prior to publication. That is, he created the design but was not alive to see them through the publishing process.
