A limited edition of the work. Number 221 out of 750 copies produced.Bound in half morocco with marbled paper to the boards. Raised bands and gilt text and detailing to the spine. With a full colour frontispiece and forty plates. Collated complete. This work on boxing was written by author Bohun Lynch. This work provides a visual overview of the sport with illustrations depicting the world of the Prize Ring. An initial brief but informative description of the history and development of the sport has been provided by Lynch, with explanations of the artwork next to each plate. In quarter morocco with marbled paper to the boards. Externally lovely with only very light rubbing to the extremities to the paper boards. The odd minor mark to the end papers. Internally firmly bound with bright and generally clean pages with only the odd minor mark. Fine

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
