About This Item

Ancient world 305 Aesop. Aesop's fables. A new version written by Munro Leaf; with illustrations by Robert Lawson. Norwalk, Conn.: Heritage Press, 1969, xii, 130 pages : illustrations. A very nice copy with no marks except that the cover has some bubbling –I think it was caused by too much binder's glue. With this minor detraction, I would call it a good copy in slipcase. $9.50

A selection of more than 100 fables rewritten in their newest form, yet the age-old wisdom and the substance are still the same.
