A finely bound presentation copy from the publisher of the first American edition of the author's biography of the great naval commander. Loosely inserted is the business card of Alan D. Williams, the editorial director and vice president of The Viking Press. The card has a personal inscription, from Alan D. Williams on verso. A very good copy half bound in blue leather with marbelled boards, T.E.G., and a little spot foxing to fore edge of text block.
