This is an antique issue of "Harper's Weekly" from March 7, 1891 that features a two-page spread of General WILLIAM TECUMSEH SHERMAN'S funeral train. The illustrations include The Arrival at Columbus, Ohio, The Grave, The Interior of the Funeral Car, The Funeral on Grand Avenue, At Germantown Junction, and School-Children Viewing the Passing Train. The original outer wraps are present and firmly attached. The front cover features a dramatic illustration of "The Rescue of the Jeansville Miners - Passing the Survivors Down the Manway."
Condition:
The original outer wraps, both covers, and all pages are firmly attached. Light staining at the outer page edges. Occasional small tears along the edges of the pages. Overall the issue is in Good- condition.
