This is a first edition, 14th printing, of Mutiny on the Bounty, the famous tale of the takeover, from Captain Bligh, of the Royal Navy vessel HMS Bounty by the mutineer Fletcher Christian. This is a novel, a fictionalized account of the story, which occurred in 1789.
The novel was originally published in 1932 and was a runaway best-seller.
This copy is bright blue boards with silver and white on the cover and spine. Otherwise unadorned. There is fading to the top of the cover, and to the spine. There is a slight smell of must which you can fix with a dryer sheet or car scenter. Inside, the pages are clean and clear, no dogears, no marks.
