New York: New Directions, [1952]. First Thus. Blue cloth in dust jacket; large 8vo. 248 pp., with index. Essays from early in Pound's career on the Troubadours, Chines Poetry, Dante, etc. Name and date in ink on ffep, a bit dusty and edgeworn, but very good in a dust jacket that is spine-toned but else very good with little wear. (In removable protective archival covers.).
